Hi, I’m Taylor, the founder of Rebellion Fitness. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Psychology, and a Master’s in Kinesiology with a dual focus in corrective exercise and rehabilitation.

I’m also certified in Animal Flow, Pilates, and Kettlebell. I love using my skills and training to help people move on from injuries and pain, and to get stronger and more in touch with their bodies.

Matthew McGowan

My name is Matthew, and I’m passionate about all things movement. My goal as a trainer is to help people get back to baseline—baseline mobility, baseline strength, and baseline fitness. I focus on safely developing functional movement patterns that support everyday life. We’ll build strength, move better, and have a blast in the process.

Megan Mahley

Originally from St. Louis, I returned in 2017 after 12 years living on the West Coast. Transitioning from the design industry, I pursued a 200-hour yoga teacher training program, evolving from participant to instructor while remaining a lifelong student. Teaching yoga has afforded me the privilege of guiding others in self-discovery beyond the mat. I also curate international yoga retreats for adventurers and seekers of life experiences.

As an adventurer at heart, I have lived in five different states, accumulating a wealth of interactions with unique culture, foods, and people. I have embraced risks, experienced successes and failures, found and lost love, gained enlightenment, and even collected a few tattoos. These adventures have profoundly enriched my mind, body, and soul. I infuse my classes and coaching with creativity and the rich knowledge gained from my travels and learning experiences.

Alex King

Alex is a massage therapist and movement coach based in Central West End. He helps people understand the tension that lives in both the body and mind and learn new ways of moving through life with ease. For the past 6 years, he's combined precise, deep myofascial bodywork with movement coaching so clients feel better, move better, and carry that intelligence into daily life.

Working hands-on with thousands of bodies revealed a clear pattern: the toughest pain and movement dysfunction often shows up in sedentary and overworking lifestyles, especially coupled with beliefs that unintentionally disempower healthy changes. That insight pushed him to study and teach higher-quality movement that builds mobility, awareness, and long term resilience and function.

It’s impossible to look into her eyes and not succeed.

We’re looking for coaches!

Are you a fitness instructor, coach, or trainer who believes in a holistic, encouraging approach? Who is into a non-traditional fitness model, one where we don’t burn people out, but help them move better, and, dare we say it, have fun?

Then you might be a great fit at Rebellion! Shoot us an email, and we can set up a time to chat.
